Get back Facebook’s old photo layout

Are you frustrated with Facebook’s recent development Photo Theater View? If you login to your Facebook account and view pictures or album of your or your friends you could see surprising theater effect while browsing the photos, this feature is generally called as Theater Photo effect which will pop-up albums photos in a new windows. This feature was rolled out by Facebook just few days back and it’s now available to all the users. So do you like the new interface on viewing the photos in a new pop up windows?

At first when I heard of Facebook new design I was were surprised and went straightaway into Facebook account. But as soon as I have gone through few photo and albums of my friends thought that this is not a perfect design to view the photos, infact the old design was much simple and user-friendly. I thought of reverting back to the old interface but Facebook has no provided any means by which we can toggle the view.

Now here are the ways in which you can remove the old interface and disable the new effects in Facebook –

Disable New Facebook Photo Layout in Firefox

For completely removal of new layout for images in Facebook you need to make sure that you have installed Greasemonkey a beautiful Firefox add-on.

• Install Greasemonkey Script from Firefox Add-on Gallery.
• Now install Userscripts ‘Facebook Photo Theater Killer’ script which will be automatically configured with the Greasemonkey script and you will have your ultimate result.
• Check back and verify whether its working or not.

Disable New Facebook Photo Layout in Google Chrome

As Google Chrome is the latest browser, you just need to install the same Userscripts ‘Facebook Photo Theater Killer’ directly, Greasemonkey will not work here. This will remove the new photo interface in Facebook.

Also there is another simple alternative which is to install ‘old FB Album‘ from Google Chrome Web Store. So you can now enjoy hassle free image browsing on your favorite Social networking site.
